nickname is "The Last Frontier" - The last frontier and "The Great Land" - Big Stan

animals inhabiting the area in the northern part of Alaska, off the coast of the polar bear, and in coastal waters of seals and walruses.
live in the tundra reindeer, caribou, and the smaller species is arctic fox and several species of lemmings. The species is widespread bird snowy owl.
southern area Alaska inhabit large hoofed mammals such as moose and deer American elk. For the large predators are bears and grizzly baribale, and the smaller - wolves. Among the rodents are common with beavers often considered pests, and squirrels. Common species of fish are salmon and trout.
